For
EveryGirl.
EveryWoman.
EveryWhere.

Formerly known as the Centre for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA), established in 1987, C3 has almost four decades of experience engaging closely with girls, women, young people, families, communities, grassroot leaders and systems. Over the years, we have consistently worked to bridge gender, health, and education disparities at multiple levels, positively impacting the lives of girls and women at every stage of their lives.

Disrupting Inequity, Creating Positive Ecosystems, Building Agency and Catalyzing Change
  • Every girl born in india finds herself at the centre of gender inequality
  • From the start, she is at the risk of being forced or persuaded to drop out of school
Our projects are aimed at providing life skills and educational enrichment support through school systems and within communities
  • Girls are susceptible to be married early and trapped into patriarchal traditions
We design targeted programs for girls, parents, community members, religious leaders, local influencers who play a role in the lives of young girls
  • Faces early pregnancy, unsafe abortions, lack of awareness and choice in decision making
Our initiatives aim to increase the knowledge of sexual and reproductive health of girls, women and gatekeepers, along with supporting access to and supply of services
  • She experiences discrimination & gender-based violence at home, work and public places
We integrate gender-sensitization into public spaces, communities, work-spaces, and homes, to ensure equality everywhere
  • With lack of awareness, support and education, she leads a disempowered life with no financial independence
Our solutions provide income generating opportunities, vocational skills training, digital and financial literacy, so women and girls are equipped with 21st century skills
  • Women in leadership experience gender-bias and patriarchal social norms at every step
We implement programs with grassroots women leaders, community officials, and self-help groups, catalyzing gender-transformative leadership.
  • Unaware of maternal and reproductive health and rights, women are at-risk of unsafe pregnancy and childbirth
We work with women, key stakeholders like health officials, service providers, health facilities to promote respectful care in India. Additionally, we support the building of a midwifery cadre in India
