At C3, our team of frontline catalysts bring our mission to life, working closely with communities across 12 states. Every quarter, we are recognizing and shining a spotlight on the community-level change-makers who, with their teamwork, innovative thinking, leadership, and steadfast commitment, are playing their part in empowering every girl and every woman, everywhere.
For over six years, he has anchored C3’s work in East Champaran, working closely with frontline workers and local communities to take health services to the very last mile and shape initiatives that now stand as models for improving lives across the district.
Starting as a field coordinator in 2020, his grit and deep grasp of grassroots realities propelled him to lead C3’s grassroots outreach district-wide, across Muzzafarpur. Currently, he supports 300 health centres, mobilizes community awareness, and drives efforts to build an enabling ecosystem for community health.
In Aurangabad, he focuses on building trust and coordination between grassroots leaders, health officials, and communities— ensuring health centres can access and use local funds, and promoting community ownership of primary healthcare.
She partners with community influencers to rally support for adolescent girls, building trust and momentum to eliminate child marriage in her district.
At the block level, he connects people, resources, and ideas to address health and nutrition needs. By organising health camps, leading awareness drives, and hosting village meetings, he ensures programmes reach the last mile, and that C3’s presence is recognised and valued.
He has been deeply committed to preventing child marriage in his district—working to help girls from marginalized communities access scholarships and academic support, and contributing to community awareness efforts on girls’ education. By collaborating with local stakeholders, he has helped Shiksha Sansadhan Kendras (Learning Centres) and Academic Enrichment Classes thrive, strengthening community ownership and sustainability.
In Nuapada, he works alongside block-level health stakeholders, building strong local relationships and helping ensure C3’s maternal health programs are planned and delivered with quality. A trusted resource for the block program management units, he contributes technical expertise on maternal and child health, and is always ready to take on challenging outreach efforts.
As a Field Programme Coordinator for Raidih block, he led two batches of Peer Educator training this quarter, equipping 63 young people with critical information on health and leadership. His facilitation skills found a new arena when he organized a football tournament for World Football Day. A steady guide for new team members and a reliable hand in timely impact documentation, he brings initiative and commitment to every aspect of his work.
He is known for his strong mobilization skills and rapport with adolescent boys at the grassroots. He leads life skills sessions, keeps meticulous records, and facilitates adolescent club meetings. This quarter, he co-facilitated Peer Educator Trainings and co-organized World Football Day celebrations— creating spaces where young people feel engaged, included, and inspired.
"The relentless commitment and dedication of our team is at the crux of our every intervention, of every step we take, driving the change we catalyze."
