Every quarter, we are recognizing and shining a spotlight on the community-level change-makers who, with their teamwork, innovative thinking, leadership, and steadfast commitment, are playing their part in empowering every girl and every woman, everywhere.
When it comes to strengthening C3’s work in Madhubani, he has been innovative, creative and consistent. He is always practical and effective in addressing field-level challenges, and he works not only to improve gender equity outcomes in the district, but to boost team spirit and collaboration as well.
In Muzaffarpur, she has brought new ideas to life and managed a group of 25 grassroots women leaders and 20 women entrepreneurs, ensuring that Shakti Salah Kendras (SSKs) – or Career Counselling Centres - are set up at the community level, strengthening women’s economic participation and leadership.
In Aurangabad, he supports and facilitates creative problem-solving within the team and among school stakeholders, and his work is grounded in the belief that enabling communities to identify and address challenges improves program ownership and longevity.
From supporting the football coach in organizing practice sessions with young boys to documenting field-level insights, he has shown excellence time and time again. He strengthens teamwork, builds strong working relationships with local officials, and recently led a supervision exercise at Adolescent Friendly Health Clinics beyond his assigned block.
By engaging adolescent boys at the grassroots in Gumla, stepping in during block-level activities, and connecting young people to livelihood opportunities, he has consistently strengthened participation, ownership, and long-term impact across his block with his hands-on, empathetic approach.
Through continuous coordination with local officials, regular field-level implementation, and proactive engagement under RKSK and SHWP, he has played a key role in advancing adolescent health with dedication and commitment in Gumla.
By building strong relationships with block officials, coordinating health camps, ensuring effective fund utilization, and supporting community nutrition initiatives in Fatehpur, he has delivered visible and sustained grassroots impact around gender equity in his block.
Through proactive coordination, efficient fund utilization, inclusive nutrition support, and the facilitation of health camps, he has expanded community access to essential services and social entitlements in Fatehpur.
By aligning health camps with the Gram Chaupals, he has ensured wide-reaching community benefits in Fatehpur, expanding access to social welfare support, strengthening digital library usage, and widening nutrition support for children and pregnant women.
She has reached thousands of adolescents in Rudrapur through structured school and mental health sessions, organizing Adolescent Health Days, and strengthening links between schools and health facilities.
She has engaged nearly 3,000 adolescents across her block in Rudrapur through the implementation of school-based health and mental health programs and by organizing health days and check-up camps.
By delivering 22 school-based wellbeing sessions, organizing 3 Adolescent Health Days, and reaching 1646 adolescents through sessions, he has expanded adolescent awareness and access to health care in Rudrapur.
