At C3, our team of frontline catalysts bring our mission to life, working closely with communities across 12 states. Every quarter, we are recognizing and shining a spotlight on the community-level change-makers who, with their teamwork, innovative thinking, leadership, and steadfast commitment, are playing their part in empowering every girl and every woman, everywhere.
Nibha Sinha is from Rajgir block in Nalanda district. She first associated with C3 in 2017 through its partner organization BALSK, where she worked as a Block Coordinator under the Pahel Project in Warsaliganj block, Nawada district. In 2020, she joined C3 directly and contributed to programs such as Pahel Plus and Sajha Pahel in Nawada district. Since last year, she has been appointed as Block Project Coordinator under the Sajha Shakti Project, assigned to Rajgir block, where she works closely with women Panchayat leaders and SHG leaders to strengthen community engagement and program implementation.
He provides technical support to 11 Didis Adhikar Kendras in Madhubani and 4 DAK centers in Supaul, mentoring DAK Coordinators and training approximately 109 Sakshamaa staff on gender integration and refresher programs. He has also trained nearly 70 district- and block-level Jeevika personnel on gender integration, strengthening capacity across both districts. Recently he has facilitated POSH orientation to district level govt officials of different departments and got appreciation from the WCDC officials.
He played a key role in organizing and facilitating important events such as World Mental Health Day and World AIDS Day, and consistently delivered interactive sessions across schools, ensuring active participation and awareness among students. His efforts also extended beyond schools through community meetings and coordination with frontline workers (ANMs, ASHAs, CHOs), strengthening community-level understanding of adolescent mental health issues.
Lekhraj also actively contributed to building institutional linkages by regularly engaging with AFHC counsellors, health facilities, and education stakeholders, while also ensuring effective referral mechanisms for adolescents in need of support. Overall, his proactive field engagement, strong coordination skills, and consistent focus on quality implementation have made a significant contribution to advancing the objectives of the SAMARTH project and improving adolescent mental health outcomes in the district.
Conducted 22 school sessions on mental health and SHWP modules.
