On April 11 2022, C3, as the National Secretariat of White Ribbon Alliance, India commemorated India’s National Safe Motherhood Day. This year, we celebrated 20 years of White Ribbon Alliance India and their commitment to Respectful Maternity Care for all women. This year, we reaffirmed our commitment and support to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity and to the provision of 'quality, equity and dignity in maternity care services' for all women and newborns in India. 

Dr Aparajita Gogoi, Dr Janhavi Nilekani, Founder and Chairperson, Aastrika Foundation, also announced the launch of the new self-learning management system of Aastrika sphere that will host the digital training course of WRAI for health professionals. Joined at the panel was also Ms Pompy Sridhar, Director India, Merck for Mothers, as MSD supported this initiative in the pilot testing of the digital training course. At the event, the audience got a sneak peek of the learning system, the feedback from the doctors who were part of the pilot. The course announcement was well received by everyone.
